How is my valuation calculated?

With years of experience in valuing and buying cars we are confident that we will give you the best and the fairest price. We have access to the most up to date prices of cars and this is monitored on a daily basis.

It is important that you take your time to give us all the information and that it is accurate, as all the information you provide is taken into account and cars are individually priced based on this. If you feel your car has extras that will increase the value of your car and you have not been able to submit these online, please email [email protected]


Why is my value subject to inspection?

We need to make sure that all the information you have given us is correct and that the online description of your car matches the actual condition of the car. The value given via this website does not constitute a contract. The condition and exact specification needs to be confirmed by one of our expert team before the transfer can take place, we might find that your car is worth more than we've offered you, or we might find it's worth less, so please take time to accurately describe your car. But rest assured our team are NOT targeted on reductions of prices and we will never make you feel uncomfortable or reduce a price unnecessarily.


Do you charge a fee?

No, there are absolutely no fees!


Why do you need my email address and phone number?

We require your email address because we send you confirmation of our valuation by email, and we require your phone number in case we have any questions about your car. Don’t worry all your details are safe and we will not share these with anyone else.


My car is a non runner, will you buy it?

Sadly not, unfortunately we do not buy non running cars.


My car has a private registration, will you buy it?

Of course we will, if you wish to keep the registration then we will need to wait until you have completed the relevant paperwork with the DVLA and your V5 is back before we can complete the process. If you wish to sell with the registration on it then we will be happy to buy it.


My car is an insurance write-off, will you buy it?

Yes, use this website to value your car in the normal way, making sure you indicate your car is an insurance write-off in the any further details section of our valuation process.


Will you collect my car?

Yes, we will collect from you at a time and a place that is convenient, one of our team will be more than happy to talk you though the process.


What do I do with my road tax?

Providing you have over a month left, any tax left on the vehicle can be kept and claimed back from the DVLA, so please feel free to keep this.


What do I need to bring with me?

  • Vehicle Documentation
  • V5
  • Service Book, Handbook, Spare Keys, Locking Wheel nuts, Radio & Key Codes, Sat Nav Discs etc
  • MOT (if applicable)
  • If there is outstanding finance, a letter from the finance company confirming their settlement figure and validity
  • Personal Identification
  • Photo Driving Licence or Passport
  • One of either, a Utility Bill, Bank or Credit Card Statement, Council Tax statement (These must be in your current address and match the address on the V5)
  • If you are NOT the registered keeper then we will require written authorisation from the registered keeper that you are authorised to sell the vehicle and the registered keepers photo ID
  • Additional Information Required
  • Your UK bank details and/or that of the Registered Keeper
  • Please ensure that the Fuel Light is NOT on

How will I be paid?

We will pay you by immediate bank transfer.


How long will payment take?

Unlike many other companies we pay you instantly and in some cases money can be in your account within 15 minutes, however please allow up to 2 hours for it to reach your account.


Can I be paid in cash?

No, due to money laundering regulations and to ensure the safety of our staff, none of our staff carry cash.
